Treasures Discovered at the Sydney Miniature Fair

Описание к видео Treasures Discovered at the Sydney Miniature Fair

Naturally one goes to miniature shows and fairs to buy stuff!! But also, for inspiration. And there was plenty to see of the latter at the Sydney Miniature Fair this year. So, on Day 65 of 'A Year in the Life of a Miniaturist' I review some of the wonderful finished work on show. The stunning church by Ray Powell is spectacular in it's finish and detail, the futuristic work by Marilyn Pride will get you thinking (pay attention to where Marylin gets her raw materials from!), while the precisely detailed work of Lewis Morley has a science fiction bent. I really enjoyed seeing the lovely classical houses sharing space with the quirky futurist pieces. You should all plan a holiday down under for this event at some time. You won't be disappointed! Details of all upcoming Australian and New Zealand shows, conventions, and fairs are always included in my magazine. For now, regards, Jill.
