Hatházi Rebeka sheds light on the often overlooked yet crucial role of set and costume design in film and theater. She discusses the technical and creative challenges behind visual storytelling, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and valuing the contributions of all team members involved in a production. Rebeka's reflections highlight how art shapes our perception and the profound impact of behind-the-scenes work. Costume and set designer, PhD in film and media at BBTE Film and Media Film Directing. In addition to theatre set design, she has worked on short films not only as a designer but also as an actor and director. Most recently, she was costume designer and actress in the feature film Explanation for Everything, for which she received the Hungarian Film Critics Award for Best Actress in a Feature Film in 2024.
