Produced by Larrance/ Watson Associates, this two-part untitled newsreel film from the 1970s sheds light on the origin story as well as the manufacturing process of the famed Jack Daniel’s Whiskey (38:17). Both parts of the film take place in Lynchburg, Tennessee at Jack Daniel’s Hollow however the first film, which is notedly in Italian, takes the viewer on a tour of the distillery whereas the second film is a business case history exploring the various business elements that make Jack Daniel’s Whiskey a timeless success. Originally founded and owned by Jasper Newton “Jack” Daniel in the late-1800s, the company is now managed by Brown-Forman Corporation.
