ACE High stations were part of a NATO Cold War-era communication network, spanning over 8,000 kilometers across Europe. They utilized tropospheric scatter technology to transmit microwave signals over long distances, ensuring secure and reliable communication between NATO command centers. These stations were strategically located and often hidden in remote areas, playing a crucial role in maintaining communication during the Cold War.
