Melinda Kistetenyi (1926-1999) was one of the greatest musicians of the history of Hungarian music, Professor of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music of Budapest for 53 years, and my tutor and "musical mother" for my entire life.

This archiv film was made in 1968 in Budapest, on the former Rieger-Organ of Hungaroton Recording Company. The young Pierre Cochereau made his Hungarian debut on this instrument in 1948.
