We've all seen the videos. Victor Bernardo, Asher Pacey, the old Josh Kerr Indo clips.

They're all defying gravity on their Twinsmans - seemingly one of the highest performing twin fin surfboard shapes, or surfboards in general, on the market.

The Album Twinsman, created by Album surfboards founder & owner Matt Parker, features a somewhat classic 80's style twin fin shape, being a bit stubby with a large decked platform and solid float - but with enough drive and control to rival your favorite short board.

But the real questions are - how is it as a daily driver surfboard? Is it worth the somewhat extreme price tag? And can this truly be your (apologize for the overused claim) one board quiver killer?

Watch my in depth surfboard review to find out, after having owned an Album Twinsman for 6 months. This particular review features some very average days. Groveling, slashing, the Huntington Hop - basically what we surf in California (for the most part) everyday.

User friendly speed, easy turns, and more waves without sacrificing performance. Approachable for any style of surfing. A board that you can really push on rail or just enjoy the easy down the line speed.

Paddles and gets up to speed faster than a standard performance board, but doesn’t have the limitations of a traditional twin. More pivot and drive off the bottom while fitting in tighter pockets and sections. Size it in between your shortboard and fish and don’t be afraid of extra foam.

Rocker Profile
Relaxed entry rocker lets more surface area contact the water, in turn creating better paddle, speed generation and momentum. Extra exit rocker allows the board to fit in steeper sections and be surfed more vertically than traditional twins.

Bottom Contour
Single concave under the front foot, transitioning into a slight double through the fins and vee off the tail, otherwise known as a spiral vee. The modern bottom generates speed, helps the board roll rail to rail and drive off your back foot.

Deck Profile
Flat/concave deck with foam pushed to the perimeter, quickly tapering into a modern rail. A flat deck distributes foam evenly throughout the board and under your chest, providing more paddle and allowing the board to be ridden with extra foam.

Well balanced, large twin template, designed for fluid, stylish surfing. These will provide generous amounts of hold on steeper waves while also helping generate speed on smaller softer waves. These fins are ridiculously fun, and will open up new horizons for those looking to expand their stye.
