This video will show you how to properly disassemble, clean, and reassemble the carburetors on a 1985 Honda Shadow. At the end of the video I'll show you how I replaced the lower gasket on the air relief valve. I couldn't find much literature on the subject so I hope it helps. I would try and do something other than drill a hole and grip wire it, but it should do the job.
