Tying a Yellow Dancer Variant - Stillwater Fly Fishing

The yellow dancer is a classic pattern, and for good reason - it catches fish!!

This is my variant which works well for me at this time of the year, but you can play around with different colour combinations and have a few variants in your box.

Hook - Fario Barbless Short Shank (FBL 302) - size 10
Bead - 3mm Tungsten in Pink from Troutline
Thread - 8/0 White
Body - Flybox Eggstasy in Watermelon & Fl Cheese

The simplest of patterns, but one that catches so many fish in winter.
