The Jizan area of Saudi Arabia is getting a significant boost with a number of investments in its infrastructure and various industrial projects. This is being done to further establish the new city and affirm its place as a major economic hub within the Kingdom.

HRH Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the governor of the region has inaugurated a number of service projects, new developments, road enhancements, municipal projects, and social development projects which are worth an estimated $10.9m.

HRH Prince Muhammad also inaugurated the Eastern Ring Belt project giving a boost to road transportation. It also includes a number of other transport projects that HRH Prince Muhammad has approved with a total transport investment of around $267m. Included within this is the development of the port of Jizan.

Recently, SBT has established a new hub in Jizan, to complement the rapid development around the city. SBT network provides a Daily Service, linking Riyadh Dammam and Jeddah directly to Jizan with access to Jizan port, Jizan Airport, and the coastal highway.

These development projects are great news for Saudi Arabia and its continued economic growth, and they also provide an exciting opportunity for SBT.
