Empaths and Suggestibility

Empaths have the tremendous gift of being able to feel other people's emotions and energies. As empaths, we may do this so naturally and easily that we don't even realize we are taking on the frequencies of others and allowing it to affect our own vibration.

In this video I discuss suggestibility of the empath and talk about how we can leverage this gift. Being highly suggestible means that by mere suggestion or repetition of certain feelings or states of being, you may find that you take on those frequencies in your physical or emotional body.

Knowing that you have this tendency means that you have heightened awareness of how your body and mind are affected by other people and the external world. You are tuned in to such a high degree that you notice subtle nuances that most people would easily overlook.

The upside to this ability is that with awareness, we can use this to choose what frequencies we surround ourselves with. We can choose music, movies, tv shows, friends, people, careers and activities that nurture us on a heart level. The key is to be aware of it and then to choose what you surround yourself with. I advocate for choosing thoughts, people and things that uplift you and help you to feel joy and happiness. That make you feel empowered.

Being an empath comes with a lot of responsibility and we must be good caretakers of ourselves first! We carry a bright light and a level of compassion that the world desperately needs. Don't allow your light to become dim from external sources that would feed off your energy. Let your happiness, joy and love shine from your heart.
