Synopsis
Blank (2019) is a gripping Indian action thriller that throws you into a heart-pounding race against time. Hanif (Karan Kapadia), a member of the organization Tehreer Al-Hind, arrives in Mumbai with his team on a deadly mission. Their plan - to execute a series of 24 bomb blasts across the city, each carried out by a disguised terrorist.
However, fate intervenes. Hanif meets with a car accident on the day of the attack, losing his memory and landing unconscious in a hospital. Upon regaining consciousness, he suffers from retrograde amnesia, unable to recall his past or the bomb strapped to his chest.
Meanwhile, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) officer SS Dewan (Sunny Deol) is alerted by the hospital staff about the bomb. Dewan suspects Hanif of being a terrorist but is thrown off by his memory loss. As pressure mounts to prevent the bombings, Dewan grapples with a difficult choice - trust Hanif and risk the city's safety, or eliminate him based on suspicion.
Blank offers an edge-of-your-seat experience, blurring the lines between victim and perpetrator. Can Dewan uncover the truth before the bombs detonate? The film explores themes of memory, trust, and the complexities of counter-terrorism operations.
