India-Canada row: Standing Committee hearing on electoral interference & crimes by Indian agents

Nathalie Drouin, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's national security adviser, admitted to leaking information about India's alleged role in the killing of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. This occurred during a hearing on foreign interference in Canada.
Drouin defended her actions by saying she wanted to present "Canada's side of the story" and insisted that she only disclosed non-classified information. Conservative leader Raquel Dancho criticized the government for sharing details with the Post while keeping Canadians uninformed. RCMP Commissioner Mike Duheme noted evidence of India's involvement in Nijjar's murder but withheld specifics to protect ongoing investigations.
