This is extensive video of mask performances at funerals and initiations in the Bwa village of Boni in 2002. It is quite a long video: scroll through it to find something that catches your attention. The video is by Alain Deschamps, who has owned a small house and lived in the village for several years. They have been edited and titled by Professor Christopher Roy at the University of Iowa.Much of the information comes from the forty years I have been visiting the village, but also from Abdoulaye Ouedraogo and Yacouba Bonde who live in Boni.
