Today in our Kamban Naatu Samayal (KNS), I've prepared tasty and healthy spring onion kootu.

Usually spring onions are used for garnishing, salads or in soups. Today in our KNS, we prepared kootu using spring onion as a main ingredient.

Ingredients:
Spring onion
Moong dal - 2 handful
Green chilli - 2
Turmeric powder - 1\4 tsp
Salt to taste
Water as required
Coconut - 3 to 4 tbsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp

For Seasoning:
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tap
Dry red chilli - 2 nos.
Curry leaves - 1 spring
