Making the Museum: Washington's War Tent (Part 3)

Описание к видео Making the Museum: Washington's War Tent (Part 3)

Washington’s War Tent – General George Washington’s mobile headquarters during the Revolutionary War – is one of the most iconic surviving artifacts from the Revolutionary War and the centerpiece of the Museum of the American Revolution’s collection. It is dramatically displayed at the Museum in a dedicated theater as part of a multi-layered mixed media presentation, that has quickly become a signature visitor experience.

Through the power of film, the team decided to tell the story of the tent as it passed through the chapters of American history to the present day. The 12-minute film, which leads up to the dramatic reveal of the tent, helps visitors to understand their role in the ongoing American Revolution. Museum President and CEO Dr. R. Scott Stephenson takes viewers behind the scenes of the making of the film.
