"Silent Night" paints a peaceful picture—but Jesus's birth was chaotic, messy, and anything but calm. Born in a barn, fleeing as a refugee, facing constant trials, and ultimately condemned in the most unjust trial in history. So where's the peace?

This week, we discover that Jesus didn't sleep IN heavenly peace—He left heavenly peace to bring peace WITH Him into our chaos. The Prince of Peace doesn't promise us a life free from trials, but promises to BE our peace in the middle of them.

Through Jesus's unjust trial before the Sanhedrin, we learn four assurances the Holy Spirit gives us when we face our own trials: God is in control, we are called to this moment, God will judge righteously, and our peace isn't just for us—it's so others can find peace in a chaotic world. 🕊️
