Text Criticism is important for every Christian. Before someone started creating the Bible translation you use, they had to decide what text they would translate. Who did this? Which texts did they choose? How did they decide? The Introduction to the Greek New Testament produced at Tyndale House is a great little introduction to this topic, which is why I recommend it today:
