Why is my Goldfish gasping at the Surface? 3 REASONS WITH SOLUTIONS

Finding your goldfish at the surface of the tank gasping for air can be distressing. There are essentially 3 reasons your goldfish will be at the top of the tank gasping, and in this video, I share these reasons and offer solutions.

Even though goldfish live in water, they still breathe oxygen as we do. The only difference is goldfish absorb the oxygen directly out of the water using their gills. When oxygen levels in the water drop, the goldfish will head to the surface.
