This final lesson of the quarter brings us to one of the most decisive moments in Scripture: Joshua’s closing appeal to Israel. Standing at the end of a fulfilled promise, God’s people are confronted with a simple but demanding question—Whom will you serve?

Joshua reminds Israel that faith cannot be inherited, delayed, or imposed. Though God has been faithful from Abraham to Canaan, each generation must personally choose loyalty to the Lord. The covenant renewal at Shechem exposes the danger of hidden idols, divided hearts, and formal religion without true devotion.
