99Vidas 1CC Playthrough with Trish on Elite Difficulty.

Interesting beat' em up with great visuals and music. Character design and moves are also pretty cool imo. Where the game drops the ball pretty hard is on the AI, boss design and difficulty balance...Horrible! On Hard and especially Elite difficulties, the game just becomes a quest of throwing as many lives as you can to beat the bosses (which are fully armored, have insane amount of health, are invincible 95% of the time during the fight and have goons all the time with them). The 1CC strategy then becomes abusing 1 move and buying as many lives as you can with score (which is the only way to gain lives in this game). I guess the game's name carries its full meaning here.

This was supposed to be a test run to see how feasible a 1CC would be on Elite difficulty, so I started a New Game+ from a completed run I have done before on Hard. With NG+, you keep the lives and the score you finished with on the previous difficulty and you start on the next higher difficulty. I ended up 1CC'ing the game as if I started with the default 5 lives and 0 score (I gained more lives than I lost even without taking into account what I started with on NG+). Safe to say I won't be doing this again as I don't want to do another almost 3 hour run.
