Support Purpose : burn emboar to halve damage from all of its attacks. debuff emboar's attack and defense (counteracting its scripted bulk ups).

Strategy: burning bulwark (and do so again any time emboar sheds the burn). 3x breaking swipe. terastalize. crush claw until emboar resets its stats. 2-3 breaking swipe, crush claw until emboar resets its stats again. 2-4 breaking swipe, crush claw until ally KOs.

Pros: excellent HP stat. fantastic def stat. outspeeds emboar, resists wild charge and flare blitz. booster energy activates protosynthesis at the start of the match, giving 1.3x boost to defense, helping countering pre-tera weakness to head smash. breaking swipe debuffs atk 1 stage through shield while charging tera orb. crush claw has 50% chance of debuffing def through shield. burning bulwark is guaranteed to burn emboar regardless of whether shield is up, morning sun heals half of HP bar.

Cons: weak to head smash before terastalizing
