Kicking off our trip from Tucson to Colorado in a Land Rover Defender 110 - V23E1

The first episode of our V23 series, which covers our 2024 extended, month-long trip from Tucson, Arizona, to explore the tall mountains of Colorado in a vintage 1991 Land Rover Defender 110 Hi-Cap.

In this episode, Shannon and I set off from Tucson and make our way to the southwest corner of Colorado, where we set up basecamp near Durango. We took our 2021 Winnebago Revel (which is for sale, but we temporarily took it off the market for this trip) with the Defender, and drove both vehicles in tandem, utilizing the Revel as an office/basecamp, and the Landy for touring and adventure!

In addition to backcountry exploration in a classic Land Rover, this video features pack-rafting on the Animas River, dining in Durango, and some lovely mountain scenery.
