Perfect for Craft Your Stash month on Crafts N Gamea Live this Month we are exploring creative ways to use junk mail envelopes in your junk journals — each one gives new life to something most people toss out! Plus you use your stash! Tonight I'm not able to be on Live. As an alternative, I've recorded this video for you. Enjoy.

I'm going to show you a creative way to use junk mail envelopes this week making a Tri-fold with a Hidden Pocket. We will continue with another junk mail envelope idea on Live August 26th.

Tri-Fold with a Hidden Pocket

Supplies Needed:
Junk mail envelope (any size)
Decorative paper or book pages
Glue or double-sided tape
Scissors or paper trimmer
Ink or stamps (optional)
Instructions:
1. Seal the envelope and cut one short end open.
2. Fold the envelope into thirds, like a tri-fold brochure.
3. Cover each panel with decorative paper.
4. Glue the side edges of a small rectangle measured to fit in the center panel to make a hidden pocket.
5. Attach the entire tri-fold into your journal with a paper clip or washi hinge.
