A calabash is a gourd that grows in the tropical and subtropical climates with many uses including a bowl used for meals. In this delightful song from Ghana, it calls for everyone to bring their bowl for koko, a type of porridge. The a cappella vocals begin simply and build harmonically throughout accompanied by rhythmic percussion included in the choral.
