Meet Andrew, from Central Illinois, whose vacation conversation in Key West unexpectedly changed his career path.

While staying in an Airbnb camper, Andrew struck up a conversation with the host about RV ownership. That’s when he first heard about the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA)—and about the income potential for certified RV technicians. “He told me how much he made on one job,” Andrew said, “and I thought, come again?!”

Curious, Andrew did some research and found that there were no advanced certified RV technicians in his area—only a couple of registered techs working at dealerships miles away. That’s when he made the decision to attend the NRVTA and complete the Advanced Certified Technician Program.

Now a certified Advanced RV Technician, Andrew is ready to launch his own mobile repair business, confident in the hands-on skills he gained from instructors like Todd Henson. “This school has been far beyond any expectation I had. If I can do it, anyone can.”
