Recite Dua Al Nasiri, the prayer of the oppressed, for the people of Palestine | Reverted to Islam

The Dua al-Nasiri, written by the renowned Moroccan Shaykh Muhammad In Nasir al-Dar'i was recited across #Morocco during the French occupation.

It was considered so powerful, and so inspired the Moroccan resistance, that the French banned its recitation in mosques. Imagine! Prayers banned in a place of worship, in a Muslim country!

In Islam, dua refers to the act of supplication or prayer, where individuals communicate with #Allah (#God) to seek guidance, blessings, forgiveness, or any other form of assistance. #Dua holds significant importance in the lives of Muslims, as it allows them to establish a direct connection with their Creator.

The power of dua is emphasised in various teachings of Islam, including Hadiths (sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ

One such Hadith narrated by Abu Huraira states, "The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence will certainly be answered.

Every time he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task says:

‘Ameen! May it be for you, too.'" 🤍

This Hadith highlights the belief that sincere supplications made by one Muslim for another, even in their absence, are answered by Allah.

It demonstrates the power of dua and the potential for positive outcomes when Muslims pray for the well-being and success of their fellow believers.

“The Power of this prayer lies in its simplicity, its purity, and its sincere supplication. It is essentially a plea to God that our transgressions be overlooked, that divine mercy be bestowed upon us, that social justice be restored in spite of us, that wrongs be righted, and that righteousness reign once again in our lands” 🤍
