The beauty of everyday sustainability | Yuan Qiu | TEDxFuxingPark Women

Qiu is a product designer with a passion for old and waste reinventing. She has transformed many daily waste objects into art and fun pieces. The installment on the stage is also a piece of art from her design. She advocates for everyday sustainability where everybody can participate. Since 2006, she has been a CMF designer, specializing in CMF design trends and material process innovation strategy research, and has won IF and reddot dozens of times.
As the founder of DESIGN OASIS, an activist in the field of sustainability. Over the past three years, we have been insisting on carrying out waste recycling workshops for the public, in order to transform daily waste objects in a simple and convenient way, reorganize and give these items a new life, and the representative work "Everyday Silhouette" was selected for the 2023 WDCC World Design Capital Conference, and "Growing Oasis" was selected for the 2024 CIFF CMF Lab Trend Exhibition.
