Dream Racing: 52.63 second lap - Ferrari F430 GT at Las Vegas Speedway

My friends treated me to some laps at Dream Racing for my bachelor party weekend!
Unfortunately (? probably fortunately) the 430 Scuderia I was originally going to drive had drunks in its transmission oil from laps that morning and was out of commission. Checking around, there wasn't really any other supercar I knew for certain would be as raw as the Scud, so I paid to bump up to the F430GT and added some warmup laps in the new A90 Supra.

For background, I drive a heavily track prepped 370Z with aero.
The move back to a fully stock streetcar with the A90 Supra made me REALLY appreciate all the work done with the Ferrari.

The track was very small with some compound turns and not too much time to process changes between laps. Fastest lap was the last full lap, number 6. Each lap let me figure out both the car limits better and the driving line better. There's still a good amount left in the car and knowing the track better, but gotta balance out that budget :)

My favorite thing on the F430 GT was the sound. It also put down power really well. I had to look it up, but 445 hp at 2425 lbs curb weight, so approximately 2800 with driver and passenger. Around 6 lb/hp compared to the typical 10 lb/hp I'm used to. However, it put down the power amazingly well due to the rear weight distribution and slicks.

It felt really good to drive overall, and was a hell of an experience. Much more fun, much more drama compared to the A90.
