Rain Gutter Grow System - Made From Pallets

Here is an update to my RGGS version 1.0 which I put together at the first week of May. It was made from pallets we had which I got from my work. I originally put the net cups in the bottom of the fabric pots but then I removed them all I put them in the trays like I did in the Version 2.0 or my second attempt. It was kind of a pain but I definitely like using the net cup in the saucers as I can mover the plants around easier and set them on the ground if needed.

The frame is made out of pallets that I cut into sections with a sawz all and I screwed together with wood screws. I added a some metal flashing roof line from home depot to add to the top corner more for looks than anything else. There are 16in x 8in blocks that I also bought from Home Depot which I dug a hole and put in the ground and leveled everything 4 feet. So everywhere the pallet we joined there is block underneath.

Using the Fabric Pots allows the air pruning of the roots and also does not heat up in the sun like a plastic pot. The fabric pots also allows for the moisture to dry out much quicker than a plastic pot which works perfect with capillary effect of peat moss to watering the plant without making it to moist and drowning it.
