The most beautiful natural area in Calabria is considered to be the beautiful Capo Vaticano, famous for its sandy beaches, rocky cliffs and crystal clear sea. It is located near the historic town of Tropea to the west between the Gulfs of S. Eufemia and Gioia Tauro, from the coast you can see the Lipari Islands and from there the largest island in Italy – Sicily.
( I was a little afraid that we would sink with the boat. They sold more tickets than we could have. We were like herrings in a can. Many people stood at the end of the boat during the entire trip, which was 3 hours. Regardless, it was beautiful. Great experience. )
