The structure was built on the foundations of a Roman 'castrum' barracks, partially destroyed during a battle in the 13th century between families fighting for control of the rich alluvial plains.

Today, the property consists of the manor house, the wine production workshop, and warehouses. At the front of the house is the entrance with the typical Italian garden, while to one side and to the rear is the vineyard.

The entire property underwent a complete conservative renovation in 2003, maintaining the splendid 16th century frescoes and terracotta floors.
The building is distributed over 3 floors, currently without a lift, but with the possibility of installing one.

The ground floor is composed of a large entrance hall which provides access to the large tavern. On the opposite side is the living room, another kitchen and the guest bathroom.
On the first floor there is a living room, a study, a bedroom and a bathroom.
The second floor consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large hallway area and another large multipurpose room.

The third floor is an open attic space with a minimum height of 1.60 m up to a maximum height of 4.05 m.
