Dundee United extended their unbeaten run to eight competitive matches despite being held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Greenock Morton at Tannadice.

Louis Moult continued his scoring streak as he broke the deadlock on 19 minutes with a well-placed glancing header from a pinpoint Declan Glass delivery.

However, former United man Robbie Muirhead was on hand to equalise for the Ton following an uncharacteristically poor defensive mix-up between Jack Walton and Declan Gallacher just before the hour mark.

The Terrors' woes went from bad to worse soon after, with Ghanain livewire Mathew Cudjoe being dismissed by Referee David Munro for alleged violent conduct towards Calum Waters.

Despite these setbacks, United went close to snatching the three points in the dying embers, twice through talisman Moult, and also would be denied multiple spot-kick shouts for grappling in the area.
