Machining Leveling Pads for Starrett Granite Plate

This week we unveil our new ‪@lsstarretttools‬ granite surface plate, but before I begin to get it uncrated and setup I need to machine some steel pads that will be used with the leveling bolts in the left of the steel cabinet. I'll use a mixture of manual machining and cnc machining for this project. I wanted to use this job as an opportunity to continue my training with the ‪@MilltronicsUSAInc‬ TRM3016 conversational programing control and machine the pockets in both sides of the leveling pads. We also engraved my logo onto the face of each one as a final touch.
I used the ‪@TungaloyCorporation‬ Tung Force Rec end mill for the cnc operations.
