OP07 - Wano Perona Ranked Gameplay - 70% Win Rate Against The Best Decks!?!?[One Piece Card Game]

Perona is a leader that was introduced in OP06 that a lot of players were hyped for, but unfortunately, the deck had a very poor Sakazuki matchup and did not meet players expectations. With that being said, Perona has been given new life in OP07 by losing it's worst matchup following the recent bans and gaining access to some powerful new cards! Today we will be taking a look at the Wano variant for this leader which takes advantage of the new Otama from OP07 as well as cards like You Can Be My Samurai. While this card has been around since OP01, it has not seen competitive play until now. Gecko Moria being able to pull back cards such as the Hiyori from EB01 allows to essentially get the cards effect at almost no cost! This deck generates insane hand advantage as well as having strong removal options. Furthermore, the deck has solid defensive options like Sabo which can help us dig deeper into our deck and Borsalino which can be recurred with Gecko Moria! I think Perona has some serious potential in the upcoming format so let us dive right in and see what the deck can do!
