This video explains how the Parker Tracking System (PTS) uses RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to detect and identify rubber elastomers and seal properties such as hardness, elongation, tensile, and specific gravity. In addition, it explains how PTS provides verification of other crucial information such as the product inspection date, ship date, and batch/lot numbers. By providing this crucial information, the PTS system helps eliminate seal replacement inaccuracies and installation errors to increase equipment uptime and maintenance costs.

PTS consists of two key components, RFID technology and a web-based software system that can be securely accessed through an Internet connection.
