Storytime with Dr. Shadi- Yalda Night

Tonight we are reading Yalda Night by Anahita Tamaddon! It's all about the Iranian tradition of Shabeh Yalda, or the night of the Yalda celebration that takes place on the night of the Winter Solstice. This is the longest and darkest night of the year, so Persian families like to get together to celebrate and make each other feel warm by sharing food, music, poetry, and love.
