Ariana Johnson, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences and an epidemiologist focused on disease prevention. Her research explores how implementation science, social networks, and machine learning affect health disparities, especially in HIV prevention and treatment. Inspired by her work with minoritized populations, she brings a unique perspective to her studies. Currently, Dr. Johnson examines how Syndemic factors among sexual minority men (SMM) influence the adoption of HIV prevention behaviors.
