Istanbul - A weekend travel guide

My guide on what to see and do in Istanbul on a short stay. Explore amazing mosques like the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Soak up the history of Sultanahmet Square or walk around the huge ornate palaces and grounds of Dolmabahçe and Topkapi Palace. Check out the hectic Grand Bazaar or get away from it all with a visit to the beautiful island of Büyükada, the largest of the Princes' Islands. Don't forget a cruise on the Bosporus Strait, a trip to Galata tower, and the eerie and colourful Basilica Cistern.

Oh, and make sure you stop for some Baklava, Turkish Tea, San Sebastian Cheesecake and Dondurma ice cream.
