Car Seat Safety for Low-birth Weight Babies

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital is proud to present this video about car seat safety. Car seat safety is among the things parents need to know. A car seat safety test in low-birth weight babies is done to check for signs of trouble, such as a slow heartbeat, too little oxygen to the blood, or periods of not breathing. NICU Nurse Cathy Sever, RNC, explains a car seat safety test for low-birth babies.
