Teardown Steps:
1. Remove 6 screws from the bottom cover.
2. Using a pick. Pry the palmrest from its housing.
3. Unplug the palmrest and touchpad cable from the motherboard.
4.Remove the 3 screws holding the touchpad in place.
5. Free the touchpad cable, then push the touchpad from its place.
6. Unplug the battery first before removing the speakers. I was a bit hasty.
7. Proceed to unscrew the battery and speakers. Remove them.
8. Remove 2 screws holding the Daughterboard in place. Unplug the cables.
9.Unscrew the Wi-Fi board, unplug the Antennas, then pull the board out.
10. Unplug cables connected to the motherboard.
11. Unscrew the motherboard and simply lift it from its spot.
12. Unscrew the 4 hinge screws.
13. Close the Chromebook at an acute angle and firmly pull the LCD Assembly out.
14. Lift the hinge cover off with a plastic spudger.

Note: We’ve found that the Hinge Cover can be removed before removing the LCD Assembly from the Bottom Cover. Removing the cover first prevents cosmetic damage and makes the LCD removal much more simple.

15. Being mindful of adhesive. Remove the bezel using a thin plastic pick.
16. Remove 4 screws from the LCD Panel and unplug the cable.
17. Remove the 8 screws around the Hinges and bracket.
18. Pull out the LCD Cable.
19. Pull out the Camera cable and lift the camera out.
