Deltarune's Dark Worlds: Explained (??)

Описание к видео Deltarune's Dark Worlds: Explained (??)

Ever wondered what Deltarune's Dark Worlds really represented? Why the rules are so enigmatic and why the darkners are the way they are? Well, keep wondering!
This theory tries to explain some seemingly inconsistent theming in the game through metaphysics. It gets messy.

This video is a re-upload of the original edit with a large chunk of section 2 cut out, rephrased and rehashed. This is because the video that originally inspired this theory was made by a person I no longer think is moral to support. I only learned of what he did after having made the video and uploaded it, and this is my attempt to make up for that lack of knowledge I had when I originally made the video. The person in question is "exurb1a" and his video "How long is now", however I am only acknowledging both by name because it'd be in bad faith to pretend either had nothing to do with this video. Please, don't go watch his stuff. If you want details on what he did, here is an article that details Everything:

(It's very expansive and I suggest you only dive in if you have the time and mental energy to fully digest a lot of grim and complicated things)

If you have an interest in metaphysics, and specifically Kant's transcendental idealism, I recommend watching this video (instead of the one I brought up in the paragraph above):
   • Kant and Transcendental Idealism
It's short and explains it all better than I could, and really, if metaphysics sounds cool to you, this is just the jumping-off point, not the be-all-end-all of exploration.

Stay safe out there.
