The Salisbury Amateur Boxing Club, known as the Solly, is one of the most respected and successful amateur boxing clubs in the UK. It has produced countless champions and has got the silverware to prove it.
The National Elite Championship, or the ABA Finals as it is better known, is the most prestigious amateur contest in the UK and this year it came to liverpool, right on the Solly's doorstep.
So as the club turns 40 this is a perfect chance to add more gold to its extensive trophy cabinet and for its young athletes it means a opportunity to mark their names in the club's history.
