About this video:-
Power System consists of three components mainly generation, transmission and distribution. An electrical Power system short circuits and other abnormal condition often occur on a power system. The objective of power system protection is to isolate a faulty section of electrical power system from rest of the live system so that the rest portion can function satisfactorily without any severer damage due to the fault current.
A Protective system includes circuit breakers, transducers (CTS and VTs) and protective relays to isolate the faulty section of the power system from the healthy sections.
