Gravity is a Hindi/Assamese rock band from Jorhat, Assam, formed in 2014, mainly gripped by guitarist and composer Pallav Jyoti Mahanta. Dhidipon Dowarah's mesmerising vocals and Rupdeep Paul's guitar and vocal skills are the things that makes a Gravity performance banger.
Back in the days it gained popularity as an ethnic rock band as their original composition 'Cult of Shiva' gained much appreciation from the music lovers. One of the biggest achievements of the band is that they have been ranked and awarded the 35th position amongst the top 100 bands in India by SENNHEISER.

Gravity was the winner of CLUB 8 ROCK COMPETITION (amongst bands from 8 states) organised by RENGONI TV, winner of MOKSH MANTRA (Kaziranga University), winner of POWERCHORD (JEC), winner of Aventine (AAU) and many more.
Gravity has played as guest band/headliners in many music and college festivals and won hearts of thousands of music lovers

The band's notable tracks are Cult of Shiva, Ehsaas, Jeuti, Tumi, Neon Sohor, Rang Saare and Xubaxini.
