David DeMumbrum has been practicing User Experience Design in the Atlanta area since 2003. During the past twelve years, he has lent his experience to a broad range of industries including entertainment, travel, insurance, telecommunications, advertising, healthcare, home automation, and hospitality. He has worked for large corporations, small companies, consultancies, and startups. David has organized and spoken at events for several leading industry organizations including IxDA Atlanta, Chi*Atlanta, South by Southwest Interactive, and the IA Summit. He has a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech. He lives in Decatur, Georgia with his wife, two dogs, and two cats.
Diane DeSeta is the usability engineer managing the qualitative digital research channel for Manheim, the world’s leading provider of vehicle remarketing services. With over 16 years experience in user experience she has overseen and managed interdisciplinary teams through research, strategy, concept, product definition and design. As founder of UX Mentors, Diane is following her passion to help the next generation of UX professionals thrive and strive. She also volunteers her time teaching middle schoolers design, programming and board game strategy.
Lauren Langley is UX Lead with CSE, a full service marketing and digital agency in the greater Atlanta area, where she is responsible for user experience, strategy, information architecture, and product requirements. Prior to CSE, Lauren was an Expert Interaction Designer with Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., where she designed and developed web and mobile applications for Turner’s brands like CNN, Cartoon Network, NBA.com, and TNT. She has more than 14 years of professional experience in all facets of design, including interaction design and front-end web development, user interface design, user experience, illustration and graphic design.
