Jeremy Soule's most rearranged and reused musical motif is definitely his Elder Scrolls Theme, which appeared not only in the three games he scored ("Morrowind", "Oblivion" and "Skyrim"), but was used also in the Elder Scrolls Online game and its expansions, although arranged by Brad Derrick rather than Soule himself. Since its debut in 2006, this theme has always been associated with Bethesda's most notorious game series and stood the test of time over the decades - and hopefully it will keep doing so in the future.
For this compilation, I collected the variations of the Elder Scrolls theme (usually appearing in the main title of each game) through the various scores of the games. I included the official soundtracks of Elder Scrolls Online and its Morrowind and Summerset expansions. I did not include any score from the mod expansions, although I'm quite sure there are different variations - I wanted to keep myself to the soundtracks released for the official games.

The Elder Scrolls Main Theme has some peculiarities when it comes to its music. One of the most iconic traits is the opening with drums, used for "Morrowind" and "Skyrim" (the track "Sovngarde", which technically doesn't feature the orchestral theme of Elder Scrolls, has indeed the same intro). Secondly, the orchestral melodic theme is quite long in its fullness in "Morrowind", but when it's reprised it often takes a shorter version of it, especially in more action-driven tracks like "Dance of Swords", "Bloodlust" and "Blood Blades".
All I can say about this theme is that it captures the spectator into the fantasy world of Tamriel with its unique style and atmosphere, and the musical progression from one game to the next is simply incredible.
