Instant Reaction: Nebraska Moves to 5-1 With A Hair Pulling 14-7 Win Over Rutgers

Nebraska football moved to 5-1 with a nerve-wracking, hair-puling 14-7 over Rutgers. Our beloved Huskers were up 14-0 after the first half, then held on, for lack of better terms to grab the win.

Brian Buschini became a Cornhusker god in this game. It was clear Buschini was injured when his first punt attempt was blocked because of poor protection, yet he fought on to BOOM 5 punts for.a 50.2 and a long of 69. His 69-yard punt came at a pivotal part of the game.

Boomschini also connected on a 30-yard pass play to convert a fourth down to salt away more clock.

James Williams had a stand out game with 2 sacks and 2 tackles for loss.

Nebraska's offense was... difficult. Dylan Raiola had his worst game as a young Husker, going 13-27 for a measly 134 yards with one interception.

Nebraska's BLACKSHIRT defense was outstanding. A goal line stand when Rutgers started a drive at the Nebraska one-yard line. OUTSTANDING!!!!
