Nuages Gris (Gray Clouds) is a piece of solo piano music
composed by Franz Liszt in 1881. This piece is known for its
melancholic and introspective mood and is often described as one
of Liszt's most intimate and personal works. It is characterized by
its slow and expressive pace, with a focus on delicate touch and
expressive phrasing. The music explores the various moods of the
pianist, from moments of deep introspection to more energetic,
virtuosic passages.

However, when arranging this piece, I took a different
arrangement approach. With preserving the melodies, I
meticulously delayed and changed the starting points of each line
to evoke a sense of foreboding, similar to the feeling one gets when
they first spot the first rain cloud in the sky. As the arrangement
progresses, the tension builds become increasingly dense,
culminating in an explosive release of energy, mirroring that of a
rain cloud.
