【MARETU ft. Hatsune Miku】New Darling (ニューダーリン)【English subtitles】

New MARETU song!! And it's as interesting as ever. I had a lot of fun translating this one. Some of the nuances within the lyrics are very discreet, so my wording in some areas might be questionable. I sense that this song, Darling and Pink are connected. Thank you for watching!

NOTES
The term "銜え込んだ" is often used in sexual context, but since "キャンディー" is the object here, I felt MARETU meant it as an innuendo of sorts.
As my friend Rinkutsu pointed out, "上っ面 見せかけ 同情" may be a sentence rather than separated words. I went for the latter as I felt the spaces indicated as such, but as a sentence, it could mean something like "Faking sympathy by face".
"ヒーローショウ" and "本性", "新境地" and "狂喜" both intentionally rhyme. "退場不可本性"... "愛情の狂喜"... Hm...
I translated "こいつが壊れてくれたら あちらへ行けるのかしら？" literally, so it might sound a little strange.
"愛情の新境地" seems to indicate that the speaker is exploring different levels of intimacy - especially since the fist is mentioned (alongside the chorus) - this could be an abusive relationship hidden under the guise of BDSM.
