Correct Guitar Posture

Q). Is there any advice or tips you can give about Posture? I've realized that many guitarists, (myself included), have adopted bad posture. For example; slanted shoulders, not sitting straight, usually slanting towards the fret board, etc. If you have any advice about this, it will help greatly. Thank you!

A). Proper posture is not just something that will help you play and practice longer, it will help with overall higher success rates with your playing technique. Proper sitting and hand positions will also help you maintain the long-term health benefits of your lower-back. It's unfortunately very common for guitar players to have lower back problems when they reach their late 30's and early 40's. By this age, most guitar players have been sitting with a guitar in front of them for literally 1000's of hours. In the video, I begin by having a look at how hand and body posture can be improved. With these improvements, you can play guitar longer with overall better body position and long-term lower back health benefits!
